why we choose pascaterian diet?

Pescatarian may be a portmenteau of pesce meaning fish and vegetarian. The term pescatarian was introduced within the early 1990s and is a combination of the Italian word for fish, "pesce," and the word "vegetarian "for non meat products".  A pescatarian is a person who doesn't eat meat, but does eat fish.

It includes all the vegetables, fruits, legumes, grains and oil from plant origin while animal sources may include seafood, white meat, eggs, milk, and animal materials.

The pescatarian diet contains a high level of viosterol and cholesterol which is good for women and may avoid risks of arthritis. It contains Omega-3 fatty acids which help to scale back pressure and reduce depression symptoms because it is linked with reduction in cortisol hormone (a stress hormone). Due to presence of vitamin D and Omega-3 fatty acids in fish it helps in maintaining your heart health. Studies showed that Pescatarians or those who ate less meat have fewer chances to die due to heart diseases than those who eat red meat frequently.

It is also a good source of proteins if you add eggs and dairy in your diet. It strengthens your muscles and provides satiety, helps to reduce body weight. As it contains a small portion of carbohydrates it is beneficial for type-II diabetes. It provides a strong protective effect against colorectal cancers.

Fish, especially larger species, can contain mercury and other toxins. For the reason, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) suggests that young babies and childbearing women, especially pregnant and nursing women, should avoid tilefish, swordfish and king mackerel.

Being a vegetarian can be limiting at times. Eating out at restaurants often leaves you with a not so healthy choice, with dishes like cheesy pasta because the main "veggie" option. If health a minimum partially boosts up your food choices  and then becoming pescatarian, will provide you with more options to eat.
